Custom Design / ECO-PROJECT
From an idea to a custom-designed solution made from recycled rubber
ECO-PROJECT is the Casei Eco-System program dedicated to the development of special products and components: analysis, concept development, technical design, prototyping, and production support.

FROM DESIGN TO COMPLETION
When an idea begins to take shape
Design does not end with the drawing. The transition to production requires translating the project’s geometries, characteristics, and objectives into concrete production tools and processes.
The mold represents one of the most visible aspects of this transformation: the point where technical development meets production.
CONCEPT → DESIGN → IMPLEMENTATION
A continuous process from the initial need to the concrete solution.
Beyond the Standard Product
When a catalog isn’t enough, the starting point is the project
ECO-PROJECT is designed to address needs that cannot be met by a standard product. The process begins by listening to the customer and analyzing the application in order to develop a solution that aligns with the project’s objectives.
Casei Eco-System’s expertise in processing recycled rubber is applied to the various stages of the process: concept development, technical design, prototyping, production management, and quality control.
The ECO-PROJECT Program
From Need to Production, Step by Step
Every project follows a progressive evolution. The various phases allow us to move from the initial idea to a defined, verified, and production-ready solution.
1. Needs Assessment
Let’s start with the application, the customer’s needs, and the goals that the new solution is intended to help achieve.
2. Concept Development
The requirement is transformed into an initial conceptual solution, identifying the direction to be pursued from a technical standpoint.
3. Technical Design
The concept is defined in terms of its technical characteristics in order to arrive at a design solution geared toward implementation.
4. Prototyping
When called for, prototyping makes it possible to turn the design into an initial tangible prototype and to refine the solution.
5. Production Management
Once the solution has been defined, the project moves on to the production phase and the manufacturing of the component.
6. Quality Control
The result is also monitored during the production phase to ensure it is consistent with the specifications defined during the design phase.
Inside the Trial
Design Meets Production
After the design, testing, and technical development phases, the time comes when the project takes shape. At this point, what was defined during the design phase enters the production process.
PRODUCTION PHASE
From Prototype to Production
ECO-PROJECT / PRODUCTION PROCESS
FROM DESIGN TO PHYSICAL FORM
A key stage in the manufacturing process: the technical design enters the production process.
REAL PROCESS
DESIGN
Geometries and characteristics are defined during the technical development phase.
MOLD
The project is transferred to the tools needed to move on to the implementation phase.
PRODUCTION
The developed solution moves from the design phase to its physical form.

The Starting Point
Tell us what you want to achieve
You don’t need to come in with a fully developed project. You can start with a need, a sketch, an existing component, or simply an idea of what you want to achieve.
Purpose and Use
Describe what the solution needs to do, where it will be used, and what need it is intended to meet.
Available Information
Drawings, dimensions, images, samples, references, and requirements help you get a clearer picture of the project more quickly.
Project Phase
Indicate whether you are exploring an idea, developing a prototype, or looking for a path to production.
Frequently asked questions
ECO-PROJECT at a Glance
Is ECO-PROJECT a product line in the catalog?
No. ECO-PROJECT is a program dedicated to developing custom solutions based on customer needs.
Can I contact you even if I only have an idea?
Yes. The process can begin with a needs analysis and concept development, even before the actual technical design phase.
Is it possible to develop a prototype?
Prototyping is one of the phases included in the ECO-PROJECT development process when it is useful to test and refine the solution before production.
Does CASEI also oversee production?
The process includes production management and quality control, supporting the project beyond the design phase alone.
A new project can arise from a need
Do you have an idea you’d like to turn into an ECO-PROJECT?
Tell us what you want to create, where it will be used, and what information you already have. The first step is to work together to understand your needs and evaluate the most appropriate development path.
