Anti-slip mat for localized applications
Anti-slip mat made of recycled rubber for load securing
ECO-KARGRIP MAT is an anti-slip mat made of recycled rubber, custom-cut into square or rectangular shapes, designed to increase friction at the points of contact between the load and the supporting surface. It is recommended when it is not necessary to cover an entire surface but rather to provide targeted support under pallets, crates, machinery, industrial components, and other support points. The product enhances the effectiveness of the securing system and does not replace straps, chains, bars, or other anchoring devices.

01 / Product
Targeted stability at the points of support
The MAT format is designed to apply the anti-slip material exclusively where the load actually comes into contact with the floor, a support, or another component of the cargo. Custom cutting allows for the production of compact mats in square or rectangular shapes, with length, width, and thickness tailored to the specific application.
Localized application
The anti-slip material is placed at the actual contact points of the load.
Custom Cut
Length and width are determined based on the application, with minimum dimensions of 50 mm.
Compact size
MAT is available in square or rectangular configurations and in standard thicknesses ranging from 3 to 10 mm.
02 / Applications
Where to Use ECO-KARGRIP MAT
ECO-KARGRIP MAT is designed to increase friction and help ensure load stability during transport, handling, and storage operations when anti-slip protection is required in specific areas.
Pallets, Crates, and Industrial Components
For support points between the load and the load bed or other loading surfaces.
Pipes, beams, and coils
To increase friction locally at linear or concentrated support points.
Brackets and Spacers
To be inserted at crossbars, spacers, or other intermediate supports.
Stacked goods
It can be used between load surfaces in contact with each other when called for by the overall load securing configuration.

Employment
Positioning at Touchpoints
The mat must be placed on the actual contact surfaces, ensuring that the material and surfaces are clean, dry, and free of any substances that could reduce friction.

04 / Materials
Recycled rubber for load securing applications
ECO-KARGRIP is composed of SBR rubber granules derived primarily from end-of-life tyres (ELTs), with possible minor amounts of recycled rubber from other sources, bound together with polyurethane resin and with the addition of EPDM granules.
Recycled material
About 90%
The recycled content is approximately 90% by weight.
Composition
SBR + PU + EPDM
SBR rubber granules derived primarily from end-of-life tires (ELTs), bonded with polyurethane resin and with the addition of EPDM granules.
Structure of the Granule
Homogeneous
Selected particle size distribution with a uniform, non-directional surface.
05 / Color and Finish
Black with a dotted surface
ECO-KARGRIP MAT is manufactured in black, without the addition of pigments, with surface speckles created by adding colored EPDM granules. Any additional speckles or slight aesthetic variations may result from the nature of the recycled material and the manufacturing process and do not compromise the product’s functionality.
06 / Performance and Use
Friction and compressive strength for load securing
The ECO-KARGRIP TDS specifies a dynamic coefficient of friction of μ = 0.75 under dry conditions, in accordance with VDI 2700 Sheet 14. This value applies to the specific test configuration described in the technical document and may vary depending on the surfaces in contact, environmental conditions, and the cleanliness of the materials. ECO-KARGRIP MAT must be used as an anti-slip element within a properly sized load securing system.
Friction
μ = 0.75
Value measured in the shared TDS under dry conditions in accordance with VDI 2700, Sheet 14. The actual value may vary depending on the surfaces and operating conditions.
Temperature
−40 / +110 °C
Documented range of the material’s temperature resistance.
Contact Information
Clean and dry
Dust, water, ice, oils, greases, and other contaminants can reduce the coefficient of friction.
Compressive strength at 30%
Compressive strength is determined in accordance with ISO 3386-2 and evaluated according to VDI 2700 Sheet 15, which specifies a maximum deformation limit of 30% of the thickness.
| Tested Thickness | Conservative estimate based on a 30% reduction |
|---|---|
| 3 mm | 250 t/m² |
| 6 mm | 235 t/m² |
| 8 mm | 190 t/m² |
Instructions for Proper Use
Before use, ensure that the mat and the supporting surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, grease, ice, or other substances that could reduce the coefficient of friction. When sizing the overall system, the following factors must be considered: the type of cargo, weight distribution, support surfaces, anchoring devices, and expected operating conditions.

08 / FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About ECO-KARGRIP MAT
Quick answers to help you evaluate the size, intended use, and conditions of use for the anti-slip mat.
When should you choose ECO-KARGRIP MAT instead of ROLL or STRIP?
MAT is recommended when anti-slip protection is needed in specific areas. ROLL is designed for covering large surfaces, while STRIP is intended for linear surfaces.
What sizes are available?
Length and width are custom-made upon request, starting at 50 mm. Standard thicknesses available are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 mm.
What is the coefficient of friction for ECO-KARGRIP MAT?
The shared TDS for the ECO-KARGRIP product line specifies a dynamic coefficient of friction μ = 0.75 under dry conditions according to VDI 2700 Sheet 14. This value refers to the test configuration described in the document and may vary depending on the surfaces and operating conditions.
Does ECO-KARGRIP MAT replace straps and other fastening systems?
No. The mat increases friction between the surfaces in contact and enhances the effectiveness of the load securing system, but it does not replace straps, chains, bars, or other load-securing devices.
Can the mat be reused?
Before each use, the condition of the material must be checked. If there is obvious wear, cuts, tears, permanent deformation, unremovable contamination, or deterioration that could compromise the anti-slip function, the product must be replaced.
What information is needed to request a configuration?
Specify the type and distribution of the load, the dimensions of the support points, the contact surfaces, the operating conditions, the required thickness, the quantity, and the necessary technical documentation.
