ECO-SPORT ROLL is a recycled rubber roll made from ELTs, specifically designed as a technical underlay for athletic tracks. It forms the first layer of the multi-layer “sandwich” system used in the creation of elastic and high-performance sports flooring.

Installed on rigid substrates, ECO-SPORT ROLL is subsequently coated with self-leveling polyurethane resins, contributing to the creation of sports surfaces suitable for “track and field, characterized by high mechanical resistance, non-slip properties, and impact comfort”. It is a sustainable solution, with certifiable recycled content REMADE® and compliant with the requirements of the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM).

As further proof of quality and performance, the product has successfully undergone testing in accordance with EN 14877:2013, which sets out the main requirements for synthetic sports surfaces intended for athletics.

In addition to its “use in outdoor and indoor athletic tracks”, ECO-SPORT ROLL is also suitable for gyms, sports halls, and fitness centers, in all contexts where a technical rubber underlay with elastic and functional properties is required.

ECO-SPORT ROLL is made from recycled rubber from ELTs, agglomerated with polyurethane resins to ensure an optimal balance between elasticity and resistance. The product is available in rolls 150 cm wide and in various thicknesses, from 2 to 10 mm, to adapt to various design requirements. It is supplied in variable lengths, depending on the chosen thickness, with a total surface area that can reach up to 60 m² per roll.

Designed as the first layer of the multi-layer system used for the construction of “athletic tracks and continuous sports surfaces, ECO-SPORT ROLL provides a stable, durable, and shock-absorbing base. Its mechanical properties contribute to improving user comfort and the elastic response of the final flooring, making it ideal for professional sports facilities both indoor and outdoor”.

The ECO-SPORT ROLL rolls are 150 cm wide and produced in multiple thicknesses ranging from 2 to 10 mm. The length of the roll depends on the thickness; consult the table containing all the details.

Upon customer request, ECO-SPORT ROLL rolls can be certified REMADE®.
At the time of order, it is possible to request the relevant certification, which guarantees the traceability of materials and provides the necessary documentation for compliance with the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), certifying a recycled material content of 92%. The melange versions with EPDM are not included in the certification.

ECO-SPORT ROLL has undergone a series of tests in accordance with the EN 14877:2013 standard, which is specific for synthetic sports surfaces designed for athletics tracks and multi-use games areas. The results have confirmed that the product meets the requirements set by the European standard, including shock absorption, abrasion and spike resistance, slip resistance on both dry and wet surfaces, as well as the retention of mechanical performance even after accelerated ageing cycles.

The positive outcome of these tests demonstrates the quality, safety and durability of ECO-SPORT ROLL, confirming its suitability as an underlay for the construction of athletics tracks and sports flooring.

Available in the classic black color, characteristic of recycled rubber. Melange versions with EPDM are available upon request, not included in the REMADE® certification.

ECO-SPORT ROLL is laid directly on well-prepared cement screeds or asphalt substrates. The roll is fixed and then covered with a cycle of self-leveling polyurethane resins, possibly preceded by a pore-filling layer. The resulting multilayer system is called a “sandwich” and is widely used for “athletic tracks, thanks to its properties of elasticity, surface continuity, and” wear resistance.
