ECO-QUIET TUBE is an innovative and highly environmentally friendly noise barrier designed to reduce the impact of road noise in sensitive areas.
Thanks to the use of rubber granules derived from end-of-life tires (ELTs) as the sound-insulating core, and the possibility of recycling all components, this barrier provides high acoustic performance and is made from secondary raw materials, actively contributing to the circular economy.
The modular design allows for easy installation in both vertical and horizontal configurations, offering flexibility to adapt to different design, environmental and aesthetic requirements.

Sustainability

The noise barrier ECO-QUIET TUBE is made from secondary raw materials, including rubber granules derived from end-of-life tires (ELTs) and steel tubes containing a percentage of recycled steel.
This combination of materials contributes significantly to the ECO-QUIET TUBE a product with a strong green vocation. The innovative design, with a sound-absorbing rubber core, not only ensures high acoustic performance, but also reduces the use of virgin resources.
At the end of its life, all the components of the barrier can be recycled: the rubber used for the sound-absorbing core can be recovered and reused for new barriers or other rubber products, while the steel tubes can be reintroduced into the metal recovery chain.
This capacity for integral reuse makes ECO-QUIET TUBE a highly sustainable choice for road noise protection.

Installation

The noise barrier ECO-QUIET TUBE offers two installation solutions, horizontal and vertical, to suit different aesthetic and structural requirements.

Horizontal version: Standard modules can be easily mounted on vertical uprights, allowing for rapid installation.
In addition, this configuration allows for the replacement of old types of soundproofing panels using the same IPE structures already laid, reducing costs and simplifying the upgrade of existing infrastructure.

Vertical version: This solution stands out for its aesthetic impact, creating a discontinuous and dynamic profile of the barrier. It is ideal for those who want a soundproofing solution that not only provides high performance, but also adds an attractive and modern design element to the infrastructure.

Certifications

The certifications obtained by ECO-QUIET TUBE guarantee compliance with the highest standards of safety and acoustic performance, which are essential for use in road and urban contexts. Tests were performed with reference to the harmonized standard UNI EN 14388:2005/EC 1-2011, which establishes specifications for road traffic noise reduction devices, ensuring that the product complies with European standards.

Sound absorption: ECO-QUIET TUBE is certified according to UNI EN ISO 354:2003, which regulates the measurement of the sound absorption coefficient.
The barrier obtained a sound absorption index DLα,NDR of 4 dB and is classified in category A2 according to UNI EN 1793-1:2017

Sound Insulation: Regarding sound insulation, the barrier obtained a DLR index of 26 dB according to UNI EN 1793-2:2018. In addition, according to the previous standard UNI EN 1793-2:2013, Annex A, the barrier is classified in category B3, demonstrating the high insulation performance against road traffic noise.
